Richard Osborne is a 22-year old R&B singer-songwriter from Ipswich, Suffolk (UK). He began writing songs at the age of 17 and recorded rough snippets on his computer via a webcam microphone.
Being the son of an acclaimed bass player, Richard's move into the life of a singer/songwriter was inevitable. Though his roots are deeply embedded in R&B, Richard is a versatile artist able to comfortably switch between most urban genres, as he has dabbled in so far in Dubstep, House, Hip Hop and Bassline.

ESTELLE: ALL OF ME COVER ART & COLLABORATIONS
UK’s very own Estelle is back for 2012! The cover art for her long awaited upcoming album All Of Me has been revealed. The singer gone stateside has gone for a simple but elegant black and white photo which speaks classic and clean.
Hopefully we’ll be hearing some classic Estelle on this project, as she seems to have parted from her rapping. As for appearances on the album, expect to hear the likes of Common, Ne-Yo, Akon, Janelle Monae and Rick Ross on their single ‘Break My Heart’.
The songstress’ third album and follow up to her 2008 US debut Shine is set for release on February 28th.

The rapper hasn’t stopped there, as she’s been included on Forbes 'Hip-Hop Cash King’s' list. Nicki has really made her mark in the rap game, one being the only the female included on the Forbes list, and secondly clocking in at number 15 - tying with producer Swizz Beatz.

BEYONCE: HAS SHE GIVEN BIRTH TO 'TIANA'?
According to some sources, it's reported that megastar Beyonce has finally given birth to her baby girl, who is speculated to be named Tiana May Carter. The singer who is married to rapper Jay-Z, was said to have checked into Lenox Hill Hospital in New York last night (UK time) and was expected to give birth at 'any moment'. According to the New York Daily News she checked into the hospital under the name 'Ingrid Jackson' and an employee at the hospital told the NYDaily that hubby Jigga had rented out a whole floor for $1.3 million. Now that sounds stupid and bloody extra!
It's been an epic 'Countdown'. Whether this time round she's actually given birth, if that is the right hospital she's checked into. We'll find out real soon !! Safe journey out Tiana, when ever andwhich ever womb you exit where ever you are born!

Dean Atta pays tribute to Stephen Lawrence with poem, 'I Am Nobody's N*gga.
January 3rd was a day to mark down in British criminal history as it saw two of Stephen’s Lawrence’s killers being found guilty of his murder after 18 long years. On the 4th they were both sentenced to a late but well deserved shared total of 29 years in prison.
Music came forth in the begining as a way of slaves expressing their hardship and since slavery has grown into a worldly medium to express other feelings.
Nowadays where music especially Rap - and even everyday speech use the derogatory term 'ni*ga' it has become somewhat accepted in today's society.
It's a shame as it was once and is still a word used to humiliated Black people and was sadly one of the last words that Stephen Lawrence heard.
Written out of frustration of the situation around the case, spoken word artist Dean Atta pays tribute to Stephen Lawrence in this heart felt and passionate piece 'I Am Nobody's Ni*ga'. Pay attention!

The seventh housemate is glamour model and wag Nicola McLean. This should be interesting as she's had a spat with Natalie in the past! Will this intense setting reignite their differences? Nicola says she can be quite 'motherly' maybe they'll fight over Cocozza!! Nicola already seems tired of Natalie asking if they're 'cool' because of her secret mission!

LIVE BLOG: CELEB LINE UP PART 1
Natalie Cassidy the first in this years house was given a secret mission straight away. Her task was to put in an in-ear piece and do what Big Brother tells her to do. She's already annoyed second housemate in - Michael by making Free Willy remarks such as, "Hey Free Willy give me a hi five!" She's had to kiss fifth housemate Frankie on the lips and tell the 18 year old that she fancies younger men. Thus far she's doing really well but I really want her to fail the task so they don't get their suitcases !!
Michael Madsen seems like he's going to be great. Not knowing anything about him apart from the fact that he's an actor and he's well known character from Reservoir Dogs. Having said that I liked him the minute he said "I don't know fuck all about Big Brother". Hopefully I'm correct !! Andrew Stone's hair I can tell is going to be a integral part of my tweeting. THROWBACK THURSDAY...
For the first Throwback Thursday of the year, I'm going to take it back ten years to 2002. Recently I've been immersing my ears in the music of upcoming R&B artist Nikkiya. The whole hip-hop sentiment and vibe of her music really reminds me of Erykah Badu. From the neatly, head bobbing produced beats to the tone and style of her voice is totally Erykah but with a new school twist that detaches her from being a copycat artist - she's awesome.
Back to the throwback! The track I wanted to share with you this Thursday is one of my favourite Erykah Badu tracks, right of the soundtrack of one of my favourite films from that decade - Brown Sugar...

Noel Clarke to star in Star Trek 2.
After the success of starring in and writing Kidulthood, it's sequel Adulthood and 4.3.2.1; British actor, director, producer and writer Noel Clarke has been cast for J.J. Abrams' & Paramount's upcoming Star Trek 2. His character is currently being kept secret but he will apparently be playing a character that is married with a daughter.
The Doctor Who alumni will be joined with fellow British star Alice Eve and Star Trek: Enterprise actor Peter Weller. Noel will be the third 'high-profile' Brit to join the the crew which also includes the returning Simon Pegg.
On thinking what character he may play, he could make a great Klingon!

BLUEY ROBINSON: CAN YOU STAND THE RAIN?
Last month or should one say last year Bluey hit up the studio with his long time friend and producer Reiss Nicholas, and did an acoustic cover of New Edition's 1998 track 'Can You Stand The Rain'. A UK House version was also recorded.

You don't have to meet Bluey Robinson to know that his voice is just beautiful. I guess I'm one of the lucky folk that have been able to meet him and to see him perform live! Bluey is just awesome at performing acoustic and he loves going out in the public and doing so. However it is the winter and a wee bit cold to be going out there to perform no matter how much you love it!
