The return of "Doctor Who" set to clash with the "X Factor" on anniversary night.



Doctor Who returns to our screens today for the 50^th anniversary special episode 'The Day of the Doctor'. The episode will see previous Doctor's played by David Tenant and John Hurt return as well as other characters such as Rose Tyler played by Billie Piper.

It is also current Doctor Matt Smith's penultimate outing, before he regenerates during the Christmas special into a new Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi.
