The Baz Luhrmann directed film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire is schedule for release May 10, so the release of the soundtrack a few days early is set to up the anticipation that bit more.

The late songstress Amy Winehouse was in the middle of an adoption process before she was suddenly taken from us. She had plans to adopt a little girl from St. Lucia that she had become close with during her time on the island. The girl - Dannika Augustine lived with her mother who is a single parent (the father lives in Germany) who was apparently struggling to find a job and look after her 10 year old daughter. Amy had met Dannika's paternal grandmother at a bar she worked at and was really keen on helping the family. She had even spoken to Dannika's father and started the adoption process with both the parents permission. The singer was planning to return to St. Lucia in around a months time to complete the process, but now lawyers have had to cancel all arrangements on her untimely death...
