ESTELLE: ALL OF ME COVER ART & COLLABORATIONS
UK’s very own Estelle is back for 2012! The cover art for her long awaited upcoming album All Of Me has been revealed. The singer gone stateside has gone for a simple but elegant black and white photo which speaks classic and clean.
Hopefully we’ll be hearing some classic Estelle on this project, as she seems to have parted from her rapping. As for appearances on the album, expect to hear the likes of Common, Ne-Yo, Akon, Janelle Monae and Rick Ross on their single ‘Break My Heart’.
The songstress’ third album and follow up to her 2008 US debut Shine is set for release on February 28th.

Countdown: Watch The Throne
Would you believe me if I said there has been NO leaks since the countdown of Kanye West and Jay-Z's joint upcoming joint album Watch The Throne !! YEP... that's zero, zilch, nought in British. So far 'H•A•M' that was released in January and the most recent 'Otis' has been released from the album; along side the album art designed by Riccardo Tisci and obviously the track listing. Which is totally amazing, because one it is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year and it also embarks on hip-hop history (in the digital age) as being one most major hip-hop albums not to leak. There's no point of me even saying 'it better be good' because I know too damn well it will be. GREAT NEWS... there's only three days left until it is released !!
SIDE : I hope the real album cover is embossed and really shiny and not just flat and shiny, because that would be such a disappointment.

SO... the cover art for Keri Hilson's third coming single 'One Night Stand' from her recent album, No Boys Allowed. I's a veri simple cover design with her current style of type with her name and just simple capitalised text stating the obvious. The track features Chris Brown and the vibe of the track is just sexy and will have you vibing. It's definitely one for the weekend and for the iPod. Breezy kills his verse. A little over a month ago I dropped the preview for Lil' Kim's 'Black Friday' video. Well guess what - the pretty obvious, it's here now. IF YOU'RE... looking at that image to your right, that's the mixtape cover - also part of the whole 'black friday' diss !! It's a hit back at Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday album cover, with the whole Barbie look. Here the notorious K.I.M has the famous pink bob wig in a pool of blood and the cover is dark and gloomy in comparison to the playful pink Nicki has. OUCH !! Also, if you've heard about the 'free' mixtape that Queen Bee has for her fans. Free isn't really the word that should have been used to describe it as she apparently has been selling it on PayPal for $9.99. HONESTLY... I know she has fans that would've/ will purchase it regardless but for a comeback and in this day and age it's about going your fans something making them want an album. BACK TO THE VIDEO... It's all basically what I discussed in relating post prior to this one. After Ciara's 'Ride' video featuring Ludacris was band from BET, she's released something more eyefriendly - her hot new album cover. Her fourth upcoming album entilted Basic Instinct was set for release August 26th. Luckily for us CiCi fans, the date had been brought forwards to August 17th - which is a month away this week !! I don't know about you but I'm excited. I've always liked Ciara, though her last album didn't really cut it for me after her BRILLIANT second album, Ciara: The Evolution. The cover is what it is - Basic. With her eye-swept hair and WKD bling, simplicity and straight forwardness seems to be the theme fot this album. She's looking good too, like she always does !!

This piece of art work is the cover for Kanye West’s latest single ‘Power’. Now this has got to be one of the best cover arts I’ve seen in a while. THINK I’M CRAZY..? I understand, but hear what art and any form of creativity is crazy !! This cover art created by an artist called George Condo is very unique. It captures the traditional art when people used to paint and not Photoshop it !! I mean in the ending process it’s probably been tidied up on the digital art frontier, but this is definitely something creative. It is also something quite comical. King Uncaged
T.I. has dropped the cover art of his upcoming albums King Uncaged. The cover which has THE KANG himself seated in a throne with a lion ajacent and no text may look plain to some, but come on think about it. I mean it looks simple and photographic, but it does have a background and a concept. T.I. has always called himself a king, and a lion is 'the king of the jungle'. He's also just been released from prison, therefore uncaged and lions hate to be caged. Get it..? Sorry for dumbing anyone with common sense down, but hey common sense isn't that common !!
