Jarell Perry , ‘Whiskey Go Go’, taken from his forthcoming LP, Simple Things.



Released at the tail end of 2012, Jarell Perry's latest single 'Whiskey a Go Go' is the best way to unwind after a long day, especially on a Friday. The track which is taken from his forthcoming LP, Simple Things, is an ode to his favourite beverage - whiskey.

Though the California-based artist is known for writing/co-writing songs for popular artists such as Fat Joe and Chris Brown, but Jarell has made the decision to focus on his own career. He told Femalereloaded.com in a recent interview:

I think I had already made up in my mind for a while that it was time for a change. But stepping back out from behind the scenes to be an artist, with all the pressures that come along with it, wasn't an easy commitment to make. And you don’t just make it once, you have to commit to it each and every day when you get out of bed (if you even get to see a bed that night). That’s the part that most don’t realize.
