As a budding university student interested in journalism and the urban music scene, Ja'e Says was born. Following the leading urban entertainment sites in the US, Ja'e Says was originally set up as gossip column and a platform to speak my mind on the latest in urban entertainment on January 24^th 2010.

During the lifetime of the blog I began blogging for a London, UK based youth magazine called Endz2Endz, where I eventually became the online editor for a number of years. As my commitments as online editor grew, Ja'e Say was put on the back burner; until I left the world of blogging on both platforms for social media management.

The blog was unofficially laid to rest in the autumn of 2013.
