Drake pushes back "Nothing Was The Same" and reveals its official artwork.

Drake's third studio album, is definitely one of the most anticipated Hip-Hop albums of the year. With his growing success why wouldn't it be? Taking to his website OVOSound.com, the rapper has finally unveiled the cover art for his forthcoming LP, Nothing Was The Same.

What was I expecting to see? I left my visual expectations wide open. If there's one thing I know about Drake it's that he is very unpredictable!

Designed by Kadir Nelson, the double album cover features a toddler drake with a small 'fro and afro pick, while the deluxe version depicts him as the 26-year-old entertainer he is in the present.

The album art, like everything Drake shares has become a bit of a laughing-stock in Twitter-space, with people saying, "why is Blue Ivy on Drake's album cover?" I can't lie, the same thought ran through my mind on first glance!

The design has also sparked comparison with Nas' Illmatic and Biggie Smalls' Ready to Die, both in which feature younger versions of the rappers as the album art.

For me it's more like, Drake started as a baby, now he's here! Along with the art Drake has also announced that the album will be pushed back one week from its original date of September 17 to September 24. A month before his 27th birthday.

The LP, is set to feature singles 'Started From The Bottom' and 'Hold On, We're Going Home' and will have guest appearances from Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Hudson Mohawke and more. And so the official countdown begins.
