Unknown artist Jr. Hi emerges with debut single 'Secrets' featuring The Weeknd.



Scoring The Weeknd for your debut track is pretty major, and it's exactly what Jr. Hi has done with 'Secrets'. Who you say? I'm sitting here waiting, the whole blogsphere is waiting for this mystery person to reveal themselves to the world!

Jr. Hi and his track was appeared out of nowhere yesterday when, Neon Gold (whom's roster include Gotye and HAIM) premiered the unknown artist's song. Whether the artist is male, female or alien is a complete mystery as the artist has turned up with zero information apart a website with the single art and social media connections - that aren't much help.
Opening with the feather-light vocals of The Weeknd, the track is murky, filled with the dark "atmospheric" undertones we're used to from the shy R&B crooner. While we grow more addicted to the spaced out production the artists go back and forth with their tales of love with their significant others.

This track is pretty dope for a debut from someone who doesn't yet have a face to identify with! Mysterious is the new black I guess. If 'Secrets' is anything to go by, Jr. Hi will definitely be on my radar.
