Drake 'Girls Love Beyonce' ft. James Fauntleroy

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Following the release of the ‘No New Friends’ remix, Octobers Very Own rapper Drake drops some new music of his own. Weirdly titled ‘Girls Love Beyonce’, the track features singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy, of the R&B/pop production group The Y’s (which also includes Justin Timberlake).

Aimed at the ladies the Noah ’40′ Shebib produced track samples by Destiny’s Child’s smash hit ‘Say My Name’ on the hook. On the 90s R&B inspired track, Drizzy looks back on dating on the brink of fame. Usually we can relate to Drake’s love stories, but I guess we all can with the Fauntleroy sung hook!

It hasn’t be disclosed whether the track will be featured on his forthcoming album, Nothing Was The Same – though he does drop the title in the track. Whether it will be or not the joint is currently available for free download via SoundClound.

Listen to it below, it's awesome!
