Video: Chris Brown - Fine China

Monday, April 01, 2013

Chris Brown scrubs up for his ‘Fine China’ video, and pays homage to Michael Jackson.

The single is the first from Chris' forthcoming sixth studio album, X, due for release this summer. Rumoured to be inspired by his relationship with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, the track is definitely inspired by his idol, Michael Jackson from the production to his dance moves in the clip.

Channeling Romeo and Juliet in the narrative, the track is like the sound of MJ's 'You Rock My World' meets the visual of Usher's 2004 hit 'Caught Up'.

Co-directed by Chris, and directed by Sylvain White (Stomp The Yard) shows a "different side" of the good boy turned bad. Speaking on the video Chris told Billboard in an interview recently:

In this video, you’ll see me taking care of the girl, doing gentlemanly things—showing another side of me. I know my female audience sees it. But the naysayers might say, ‘No, that’s not him,’
Keeping the "gentlemanly" theme intact, Brown sports a button up shirt, gold bow tie, smooth leather jacket and smart black pants - showing he can still clean up well. Will Chris be keeping this new look? Who knows!

Chris plans to release 10 music video before his album drops, while you wait check out 'Fine China' below.
