Kanye West opts for a simplistic look for his "Yeezus" album artwork.



The Kanye West Yeezus takeover continues. After screening 'New Slaves' on 66 buildings worldwide and performing it on SNL with 'Black Skinhead', the rapper has revealed his album artwork.

The artwork was unveiled a few weeks back by Kim Kardashian and manager Don C. via Instagram, but it has become apparent the design they uploaded is now void; unless it's the deluxe edition.
The new artwork for his upcoming 6th studio album no longer features the gold rustic image on the front and the grunge and scratchy graphic in the background. Everything has been scrapped, (including the parental advisory label) apart from the red label which reads Yeezus.

Assumingly designed by DONDA, (Ye's creative content company) there is no cover or booklet, and a sticker will be on the reverse with the tracklist. In an image uploaded by DJ Semtex, the album cover is displayed in a poster like manner with the words "Please Add Graffiti", compelling us to be an artist ourselves.

I don't think much feeling or thought went into this to call it "artwork" - apart from the "please add graffiti" part - but I won't judge a CD by its cover, or lack of one!

The LP is scheduled for release June 18.
