Jamaican Airport Named After James Bond Author

A new international airport has open in St. Mary, Jamaica for private jets and small aircrafts. Previously called Boscobel Aerodrome, the airport is now named after the late Ian Fleming, the author of James Bond who first visited Jamaica in 1942. According to his niece Lucy Fleming,
"He adored Jamaica and found so much inspiration and relaxation here." She adds,"Honestly, I don't think he would have written those (Bond) books without Jamaica."Fleming's fifth novel, Dr. No that was written in 1958 and turned into a film in 1962 was partially set in Jamaica.
