Following the release of his album and the visual for 'Power Trip', J. Cole finally debuts the official visual for his single 'Crooked Smile' featuring TLC.

Directed by Sheldon Candis, the short film had to be The video had to be filmed twice because Jermaine didn't like the first cut!

The clip sees J living a normal life while a DEA Officer goes about his, further into the video we see how their lives cross in a tribute that depicts the tragic death of Detroit's Aiyana Stanley Jones, who was shot during a raid in 2010.

Protesting against to very real parts of daily life; trying to be something you're not and the war on drugs, the clip ends with a strong message from Cole:

Please consider your war on drugs
