RIP: Steve Jobs

There was a deep loss in the tech world yesterday, as co-founder of Apple Inc Steve Jobs sadly passed away at the age of 56. He had been battling a rare form of pancreatic cancer. The legend stepped down from from his position as cheif executive in August, he wrote in his letter of resignation:

"I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come."
Unfortunatley for his family, friends and fans the day for him to part this world came, and I'm sure this loss has left a dent in the realm of technology. His family has asked for privacy while they mourn his loss. Important figures in the tech world such as Mark
Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) and Microsoft's Bill Gates are two out of many people who have shared their thoughts and tributes. In a tribute statement by Apple’s Board of Directors...

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.
Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."
That couldn't have been describe better. It's such a shame when you loose such a legendary person, especially someone like Steve who has effected pretty much the whole world in a positive way. My condolences go out to his family and the world of Apple. Steve has truly embarked on the lives of many today and surely will be missed. I will most definitely be thinking of him when use my iPod today.

One of Steve's most brilliant and innovative creations, the new iPhone 4S will be available in the Apple Store 8am Oct 14th. (UK)

MAY HE REST IN PERFECT PEACE.
