Fast rising R&B singer Jarell Perry drops the anticipated visual for his single 'Getaway'.



Following the audio which dropped back in February, Jarell Perry finally releases the visuals for his emotional single, 'Getaway'. The track was the lead single from his acclaimed debut album, Simple Things, and to its acclaim the video was premiered in partnership with Russell Simmons and his new venture All Def Digital.
The clip perfectly matches the melodic and emotional vocals laid down by the LA-based singer. Featuring ocean tides and speeding headlights the visual is as metaphorically open-ended as the song itself. Speaking on 'Getaway' Jarell said:

I like to look at most of my songs like paintings that can be interpreted in different ways. In this case it's more about creating a feeling or a vibe than telling a specific story.

Blurring the lines between contemporary R&B and neo-soul, Jarell Perry is primed to join the likes of genre-bending heavy hitters like Frank Ocean, Miguel, and The Weeknd.
