ALAS...the rumor that Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are expecting, has been confirmed. Well slyly !! We can say it started with the snaps of the couple frequently visiting a fertility clinic a couple weeks ago. Though we can say the speculation started on her guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres show, where she was offered an alcoholic beverage and rejected it. More recently she tuned down a role in Tyler Perry's upcoming production for For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf which fueled the rumors even more !! A representative for Mariah justified her pullout by stating:

Not only that she dropped a major role in an upcoming film, her and Nick have been talking about having children since renewing their vowels after two years of marriage. A source close to the couple has come through to RadarOnline.com saying that they are indeed expecting their first child. Their insider told them:

"They're both very excited and happy."

"Mariah and Nick want to keep the pregnancy quiet as long as they can."

IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT NOW !! Well it's about time, 'cause we females have biological clocks and hers is definitely ticking at a fab-40. AWW bless them both :)
